About the Archive
Abhath Apeiron is an archive. We collect serious research that real researchers, doctors, scientists, statisticians, and academics produced, and that was then banned, retracted under pressure, defunded, or refused a place to appear. The work was done. Someone decided it should not be seen. We keep it.
What we mean by suppressed
By suppressed research we mean a specific thing. A clinical trial whose results a sponsor sat on. A paper pulled from a journal after a phone call rather than a flaw. A dataset a ministry reclassified once the conclusion became awkward. A study a university declined to publish because the finding embarrassed a donor or a department. We do not deal in the paranormal, in cryptids, in ghosts, or in anything that was never research to begin with.
Standards
Our standards are plain and they do not bend. Every item in the archive is sourced. Where a document exists, we hold the document. Where a chain of events explains how the work was buried, we lay out that chain so a reader can follow it and check it. We mark what is confirmed, what is contested, and what we cannot yet verify. We would rather post less and post it traceable than post more and ask you to trust us.
Custody
An archive of this kind carries an obligation, which is custody. A record that vanishes once can vanish again, and the people who wanted it gone the first time are often still around. So we preserve, we mirror, and we keep provenance attached to each entry, because a finding without its origin is only a rumor.
This is a community as much as a collection. Researchers, archivists, and readers who know the terrain help us locate material, corroborate it, and flag what does not hold up. The standard for entry is the same whether the item arrives from a working scientist or an anonymous source. It has to be real, and it has to be checkable. We are not here to tell you what to conclude. We are here to make sure the document survives long enough for you to read it and decide.
